Salvation is not about doing good deeds, and it's not even about religion. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation, because it is a free gift that was bought with the greatest price --- Jesus Christ laid down His life on the cross, shedding His blood for our sins and making a way for us to have eternal life through believing on His name.

 

Three days after Jesus was crucified, He raised back to life, to share His victory with us. The free gift of salvation can only be received through Jesus, who is the Way, Truth and Life. He said, "No one can come to the Father but by Me." (See John 14:6). The Bible also says in Romans 10:9, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

 

It isn't a bypass from hardship, and it's more than a ticket into heaven; it's a promise of the Heavenly Father's presence forever with us, so we can live on earth in victorious freedom and hope, despite our circumstances, knowing that He gave His life for us.

Salvation is found in nothing else and by no other name than Jesus Christ, and through Him we have a Heavenly Father, the One True God, who promises to never leave nor forsake us, and He always keeps His promises. In Him, we can walk in new life (II Corinthians 5:17).

 

We invite you to make the decision today to turn over your life to Jesus Christ and to follow Him today and forever. Pray this from your heart in your own way to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior:

Dear Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again in victory. I thank You for Your body that was broken and Your blood that was shed for the remission of sins. I receive the forgiveness for my sins that Your blood paid for, and today I choose to follow You and forsake the world's ways. I give you my whole life, heart and mind, and I ask You to make Your home in me and to be my Lord and Savior. Jesus, You are the Way, Truth and Life, and I love you. Help me to walk in the new life You've given me, in Jesus Name, Amen.
